An Agro-food Technopole
The city of Avignon has built its "Agroparc" in the south, in Montfavet, and today includes more than 330 companies, 50 socio-professional organizations and 6 research centres.
Big names on more than 200 hectares

The Agroparc also tends towards the New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTIC) since the Computer Science Laboratory of Avignon has installed its servers in Montfavet; the "LIA" is the research laboratory of the Centre for Computer Science Research Education (CERI) of the University of Avignon.
